With the Finland win they moved from 5th to 3rd in our very tight standings.

Late game between Sweden and Poland.  Poland riding a season high 3 game winning streak had a lot of confidence in this one.  Sweden scored the lone goal in the 1st period.  This tight match continued in the 2nd with Sweden out scoring Poland 2-1 for a 3-1 lead.  All Swedes in the final frame as the Polocks stumbled big time as Sweden scored 4 unanswered goals for a big time win of 7-1.  A schpanking!!!  Penalty free tilt.  Joe Peacock got the lone goal for Poland.  Finland got 2 goals from 3 players, Leo Brideau, Dwayne Tygesen and Peter Freeman and a single from Joe Cosentino.  Leo’s hamstring and back and all the press stating he may have finally slowed down was put to rest as he finished the night with a 5 point effort, welcome back big guy. And obviously Swedens player of the game.  For the Polocks, needing some viagra, was backstop Bobby Ice.
