Ah just a few more sleeps until Santa comes.  Last Friday lots of good cheer in all of the rooms as we handed out our Holiday prizes and the big winner Rob Leenaars on Finland wining $25 cash hahaha.

Early game between the top 2 teams Sweden and Canada.  All red and white in the 1st as they score the only 2 goals of the period.  The Swedes explode in the 2nd period out scoring the Canadians 5-1 for a 5-3 lead. Both squads exchange goals early as Swedes led 6-4.  Canada pushed but a late Sweden goal closed out this tilt 7-4.  Canada went 1-3 on the PP and Sweden was 0-0.  Canada got 2 goals from Alan Robb and singles from Enzo Ianno and fill in Robin Flumerfelt.  Sweden got 2 goals from both Leo Brideau and Dwayne Tygesen and singles from Frank Nweisser, Joe Cosentino, and Billy Lott.  Players of the Game went to Canada’s Enzo Ianno….wait for it…wait for it…..BOOM!

Oh my god!!!!!!

And Sweden’s POG went to #11 Dwayne Tygesen.  The Swedes decided to send in images of their wives instead of the funny hats.

Late game between Finland and Poland.  Shut outs at both ends in the opening frame.  Poland scores the only 2 goals in the 2nd period.  Finland gets  the only marker in the 3rd as they match belonged to the back stops with tremendous saves at both ends of the rink.  Poland wins 2-1 and move into 3rd spot.  Finland went 1-1 on the PP and Poland was 0-0.  Poland got goals from rookie sensation Agostino Falcone, greta handle, and David Dupal.  Finland got its goal off the veteran Patty McCormick who secretly wants to be traded to the Polocks.  Obviously both goalies were awarded the Player of the Game.

Poland were rushing to finish this tilt and get into their dressing room to hear about fellow teammates Steve Ferrin weekend adventures.  Nobody left early and just note we are all very proud of Steve who saved many dollars and got the job done!!!!

This weeks games will go Friday, December 28 at 9:15 Canada will do battle with Poland and at 10:30 Sweden will face off against USA.  Finland get the holiday week off.

On behalf of all the PCOHL Exec we want to wish all of our members and their families a happy and safe Holiday.  Lots of Love and Best wishes boys!!!!
