Late game between Slovenia and Portugal was the complete opposite as both goalies only allowed 3 total goals for this one. Portugal gets the lone 1st period marker as the ageless Bruce Freeman gets Portugals first of this campaign. Slovenia’s Jeff Boulton ties up the match in the 2nd and Portugal’s Kevin MacDougall gives them back the lead 2-1. The final frame saw 2 shutouts at both ends and this one finishes with a win for Portugal 2-1. Players of the Game went to both goalies. Portugals Frank Rispoli, last years Vein winner. Looks like the Black Cock has been brought back this season.
