Brad accounted for 36% of the total goals scored for the Scots this season and has proven to be a force to be reckoned with for many years to come. His closest rival was teammate Patty Sharp with 30 points. Brad was an intregal part of Scotland finishing as our highest seed this regular season. Congrats to Brad Stoll!

Scott wins the Vezina with a league leading best 3.88 goals against average, our only backstop to be under 4 goals against. Scott helped the Portuguese to a 2nd place finish this season. Scott an Exec in the league and a stand up guy for many seasons. Congrats Mr. McCallum!

Our Hart trophy winner for Most Valuable Player in the regular season goes to Leo Brideau from the Chinook Paddles Ireland team. Leo finished the season 3rd in league scoring and led his Irish with 11 goals and 16 assists for a 27 point campaign in 16 games played. This is Leo’s 20th season in the league and will soon be entering our Hall of Fame. Congrats my good friend you always deserve it and I know you do not like the attention.

Our Norris trophy winner for best defensemen was an unanimous vote across all the Exec for David Dodic Slovenias Dan Barrett. This is Dans 3rd Norris in a row and easily our very best blue liner. He led all defensemen in scoring and was 2nd best on Slovenia with his 25 point campaign. In the same category as Brideau nothing but a gentlemen and would easily prefer to pass the puck than score. Class act and Congrats my friend!

Our Calder trophy winner for best rookie was an interesting one as we had a record 18 new players and a goalie in this years crop. Never before in our 34 years have we had that many rookies. And our winner goes to Rabba Fine Foods Scotland goalie Tom Nieminem. Tomi was a pilar of strength in the net for the Scottish squad. When ever his players would stumble Tom would make a big stop and many a night would single handedly carry his team. There is many more awards coming his way if he stays with us on Friday nights. Congrats Tomi. Portugals Mike Russo also received some votes for his stellar season as well.

And finally our Selke award winner for Most Improved player. And our winner goes to Dupal Studios Italy Paul Barbosa. Yes Paul led his Italian squad with a 20 point season and scored 13 goals in 16 games. Last year Paul had 7 goals in 17 games. A Portuguese background was a bit interesting at the start of the season as he looked for a post draft trade to his beloved Portuguese but he fell in love with his Italian teammates and signed a long term contract. Everybody wins. Congrats Mr. Barbosa a stand up guy too. Portugals Rob McLaughlin and Slovenias Dave Skingley also received some votes as well for most improved.

Congrats to all of our individual winners. Beers are on you guys haha.
